Drons for a better experience
Drons are unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAV’s for short. They are basically very high tech remote control airplanes that are operated by a person on the ground or are pre-programmed with a mission. Drones can stay in the air for days without needing to refuel (the record air time is about 56 hours). Drones can vary in size with some measured to have a wingspan of 86 feet (nearly the size of a Boeing 737) and others the size of a large paper airplane.
Drones have many uses, but the majority of drones can generally be separated into two categories: those used for surveillance and those equipped with missiles and weapons. This website will focus on the latter. Surveillance drones are used by both the military and domestic police agencies. The military uses them for surveillance in foreign countries while police have been known to use them for crime surveillance in the U.S.A., causing many to question whether drones violate privacy rights. You may have a friend who’s a keen amateur photographer and who has offered to capture your big day, but we’d still say invest in a photographer. You need someone who’ll stay focused on the job at hand and won’t be itching to go off and join the party, have a few drinks and miss some once-in-a-lifetime moments.
